Lemon Juice has many uses as listed below :-

Fingernail Treatment

Soak your fingertips for 5 minutes in 225ml warm water and the juice of half a lemon. Gently push back the cuticles on each fingernail and then rub the nail all over with lemon peel.

Hair Lightener

Comb lemon juice evenly through your hair, and then let it dry in the sun. Repeat the treatment once a day for atleast a week.

Bathroom Cleaner

Rub stained enamel fixtures with a cut lemon. Use a thick paste made of lemon juice and borax on stubborn stains.

Lettuce Crisper

Soak soggy lettuce in a bowl of cold water to which you must add the juice of half a lemon. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Blemish Healer

Dab a pimple with lemon juice several time a day to reduce blemishes caused by pimples.

Pore Cleanser

In a bowl, combine 1.15 litres boiling water, the juice of 1/2 lemon and 1-2 tablespoons dried thyme or mint. Place your face about 12 inch above the mixture and steam for 15 minutes. Then rinse your face off with very cold water.

Sponge Renewer

To salvage a soured sponge, saturate it with lemon juice, then rinse it thoroughly.

Fruit Preservative

Keep sliced apples, bananas, pears, peaches and avocado from turning brown by coating the cut surfaces with lemon juice.

Piano Cleaner

Rub a paste of 2 parts salt and 1 part lemon juice onto dirty piano keys. Then wipe it off with a damp cloth and buff the keys with a dry one.

Air Freshener

If food smell linger in the oven long after you have finished cooking, place a pierced lemon at 150 degree Celsius for 15 minutes, leaving the oven door slightly open.

Hand Cleanser

Remove the smell of food from your hands by sprinkling them with powdered mustard and then adding enough lemon juice to make a paste. Rub the paste in well, and then wash it off with soap and water.
