The world is moving towards becoming healthy day by day. But all that is healthy is not always tasty. People often do not like eating healthy items due to the lack of taste in it.

New Age Lifestyle is here to give you a healthy yet tasty salad recipe.

Preparation Time : 15 minutes

Cooking Time : 15 minutes

Serves : 4


  • 1 cup dry Quinoa, rinsed and boiled
  • 5-6 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Corn, boiled
  • 1 cup Carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup Cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup Red & Yellow Bell Peppers, mixed and chopped
  • 2 cups Red cabbage
  • 8 Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 cup Spring Onions, diced
  • 2 Jalapenos
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste


  1. Prepare the dressing by combining vinegar, olive oil, garlic, jalapenos, chilli powder, salt and pepper until smooth.
  2. Divide the quinoa into the jars. Pour the dressing in each of the jars and combine well. Leave some amount of dressing aside.
  3. Now layer the bell peppers, spring onions, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, corn, cabbage and lettuce as per your choice of sequence.
  4. Pour the remaining dressing on top, cover it and refrigerate for 3 days.
  5. It is then ready to eat.
